Project Accountant

You will manage project financial data, solve complex billing issues, and ensure accurate, contract-compliant invoices. Duties and Responsibilities

Accurately prepare and issue complex project invoices in strict accordance with established contract terms.
Maintain and update client and project database files to ensure data integrity.
Act as a primary resource for clients and internal project managers, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
Monitor project financials and proactively provide relevant updates to stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate

Relevant experience preferred but not required; we value a self-starter with strong ethical standards.
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
1-3 years of relevant experience

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer programs
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Inherent interest in accounting and a strong desire to learn and automate processes
Experience in engineering consulting or construction industry (preferred)

Approximate Hourly Range: $25.00 – $33.00
