Project Accountant

You will manage project financial data, solve complex billing issues, and ensure accurate, contract-compliant invoices. Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and issue complex project invoices in strict accordance with established contract terms.
- Maintain and update client and project database files to ensure data integrity.
- Act as a primary resource for clients and internal project managers, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Monitor project financials and proactively provide relevant updates to stakeholders.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Relevant experience preferred but not required; we value a self-starter with strong ethical standards.
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer programs
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Inherent interest in accounting and a strong desire to learn and automate processes
- Experience in engineering consulting or construction industry (preferred)

Approximate Hourly Range: $25.00 – $33.00
