Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, preparing payments, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and ensure proper documentation
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and account issues
• Assist with month-end close by preparing accruals and account reconciliations
• Monitor aging reports and help ensure timely payments
• Support audit requests and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with expense reports and employee reimbursements as needed
