Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the daily financial operations of multiple entities in California. This permanent, on-site role is ideal for someone who is confident managing accounting activity from transaction processing through month-end tasks with accuracy and consistency. The position works closely with organizational leadership and requires strong judgment, a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, and advanced proficiency with Quick Books Desktop.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions for three separate companies, ensuring each set of books remains accurate and up to date.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare checks and coordinate disbursements while maintaining proper documentation and internal financial controls.
• Complete bank, credit card, and account reconciliations on a regular basis to identify discrepancies and keep records balanced.
• Support payroll processing and related bookkeeping entries in alignment with company procedures and reporting needs.
• Assist with tax filing activities and maintain organized financial records to support compliance requirements.
• Maintain the general ledger and contribute to month-end closing tasks, including reviewing balances and preparing supporting schedules.
• Partner closely with leadership to review financial work, resolve issues, and provide clear accounting updates.
