We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire opportunity with our client. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with hands-on experience managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall business performance.

The bookkeeper will play a key role in overseeing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, processing payables and receivables, and helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial data. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial reports
• Review invoices, payments, and expense reports for completeness and accuracy
• Help support payroll processing and related recordkeeping, as needed
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding account activity
• Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting controls
