Bookkeeper

Description

Our client is hiring a skilled Bookkeeper for an ongoing temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong Quick Books experience and a solid background handling daily accounting functions, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping. Quick Books is listed as a relevant software proficiency for finance and accounting roles, and Bookkeeper is identified as a role with consistent demand.

Responsibilities:

+ Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including maintaining accurate financial records.

+ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.

+ Record journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.

+ Prepare basic financial statements and internal reports.

+ Utilize Quick Books to enter, track, and maintain accounting data.

+ Support payroll and additional accounting administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience preferred.

+ Proficiency with Quick Books required.

+ Strong knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

+ High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
