- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of project management experience supporting utility, electric distribution, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communications.
- Working knowledge of SAP; experience with CMDB and Unifier preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, field personnel, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel occasionally within the service territory.
- Previous utility industry experience.
- Familiarity with electric distribution systems, including overhead and underground projects.
- Experience supporting utility construction, system hardening, or capacity-driven programs.
PG&E is seeking a Distribution Project Manager to lead electric distribution infrastructure projects across the Northern CA/Bay Area service territory. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, contractor coordination, and stakeholder communication from initiation through closeout. The ideal candidate has utility project management experience and is comfortable working across engineering, construction, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple electric distribution projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Track project financials, invoices, and change orders using SAP, CMDB, and Unifier.
- Partner with General Contractors (GCs), engineering teams, construction crews, and internal stakeholders to drive project execution.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and project teams.
- Travel to project sites and field locations as needed to support project delivery.
