Apex has an opportunity for an Application Engineer role based in Houston, TX or San Ramon, CA. This is a 12+ month contract position. Here are the details:

Job Details:

• Candidate will be responsible in the design, development, integration, implementation, and technical support for the Real-Time Automated Control System (RACS) at client’s network of 40+ proprietary Light Products Terminals across the globe.
• The system manages all data acquisition and control; alarm and data processing; display; historical archiving and reporting.
• Candidate will be responsible for developing and understanding Emerson/GE PAC series PLC architecture and control logic design, as well as to integrate and supporting the Fuel Facs-UCOS supervisory control system and Fuel Facs Terminal Management System (TMS), including 24-hour call assistance, and on-site support and troubleshooting for system commissioning and cutovers.
• Candidate’s responsibilities also include providing server, instrumentation, distributed I/O equipment, and sub-system integration design and support to operations and engineering personnel.
• It will be expected that the candidate can prepare detailed design specifications, create, and conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning procedures and manage development expectations, deadlines, and project milestones.
