PSAP Engineer

Contract

The candidate would be testing and certifying 911 PSAP (Public Service Answering Point) hardware and software and GIS systems with Emergency Services IP Network (ESINet).

The candidate would be developing and executing test plans.

The candidate will be documenting defects and reporting test results.

The candidate will need to work with call handling equipment and ESInet providers to investigate and determine the root cause as well as resolve issues.

The candidate will need to perform systems integration and test.

The candidate needs to exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. Will be working with multiple vendors, as well as multiple internal teams.

Candidate must have attention to detail.

The candidate will need flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
