Electrical Engineer

Seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in electric distribution systems, data analysis, and utility operations to support grid reliability and asset management initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze electrical distribution systems and equipment performance.
• Interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts to identify potential transformer and line defects.
• Perform distribution power flow analysis and support protective device coordination.
• Collaborate with engineering, field operations, and Protection & Control teams to validate data-driven insights.
• Analyze large datasets to improve predictive models and operational efficiency.
• Support investigations and recommend solutions for distribution system reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of electric distribution systems, protective devices, and power flow analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools.
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
• Local candidates only; must be able to work onsite in San Ramon, CA, five days per week.

Compensation:
