Electrical Engineer
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Pay: $60 per hour, W 2
Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret Smart Meter data and predictive alerts to generate actionable insights for field operations and asset management teams.
- Predict and prioritize transformer defects and overhead/underground electrical line defects.
- Collaborate with field operations, Protection & Control, and engineering teams to validate machine learning-driven predictions.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment, protective device settings, electric distribution operations, and distribution power flow analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets, including historical defect data, inspection records, and operational data to improve model accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Thorough investigative skills.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of distribution engineering.
