Compliance Coordinator; Entry Level

* This position is for our San Ramon office with a hybrid 40/60 work model, so applicants will need to be local and in office 3 days per week *

Canary is looking for a detail-oriented individual looking to enter a compliance support role within our GRC team. The ideal candidate for this role is looking to start a technology career along the Governance, Risk, and Compliance pathway. This position primarily supports the Information Security team while also providing compliance support to Canary’s greater operational certifications. The role is essential in ensuring that the company remains compliant with relevant regulatory standards, such as ISO
27001, while also supporting internal frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree or formal education in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, or Information Security.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of compliance management and regulatory requirements such as PCI and ISO
  27001.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the broader team’s goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and reliability in handling sensitive information, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
• Strong ability to coordinate and communicate project information across multiple teams.

• Base pay (58k-64k a year) and quarterly bonus (annual up to 5k)
