Who You’ll Become
A Solution Advisor works closely with customers and prospects to identify and solve business challenges and meet their strategic objectives using SAP solutions. As part of the sales team, you are the subject‑matter expert responsible for functional and technical knowledge within the sales cycle. You provide deal support by participating in discovery sessions, executive meetings, presentations, and by delivering software demonstrations that help customers understand SAP’s unique value proposition.
You also support marketing events, Design Thinking sessions, and collaborate across the sales team to uncover whitespace opportunities.
- Complete a 10‑month program that builds a foundation for a customer‑facing career at SAP.
- Participate in experiential learning with colleagues worldwide, acquiring business, industry, and SAP solution skills while working with emerging technologies.
- Receive on‑the‑job training under a senior Solution Advisor mentor while delivering real‑world experience that guides customers through their Digital Transformation journey.
- After completion, lead customer discovery sessions, survey activities, and create compelling software demonstrations to differentiate SAP from competitors.
- Provide demand‑generation support through marketing events and respond to RFP requests during deal execution.
- 2‑3 years of professional experience with a strong foundation in technical and business processes, exposure to relevant technologies/solutions, and customer‑facing skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and hands‑on experience with relevant technologies and industry‑standard tools.
- A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
- Quick learning ability, adaptability, and application of knowledge to deliver results.
- Understanding of AI fundamentals, use cases, and ethics to identify AI‑solvable business problems.
- Resilient mindset, optimism, and a drive for growth and success.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
- Proficiency in English.
The academy offers a three‑year journey that drives accountability and enhances productivity, enabling graduates to make a quick impact in customer‑facing roles while fostering career longevity and leadership potential.
Program Details- Hybrid work setup: three days a week in the office or on‑site with customers or partners.
- Practical and immersive portion: 4 weeks across two trips in San Ramon, California.
- Mandatory full engagement during intensive phases; vacation not approved during critical periods.
