The preoperative/postoperative registered nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care in the preoperative and postoperative periods of the patient’s surgical experience through the framework of the nursing process.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• Minimum of one (1) year recent Pre Op/PACU experience

• Current California Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) card
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card
• Certification in specialty preferred
• Completion of moderate sedation class within 30 days of hire/transfer
