Inspector II

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Inspector II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Ramon, CA
. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay is $26-27/hr (based on experience) to start!!
• 6-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
• Monday – Friday (5:00am – 1:30pm)
• This position is responsible for performing inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and finished products in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform visual (up to 30× magnification), dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment in accordance with documented procedures.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and document nonconformances within the NCMR system in compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Operate and support calibration activities for inspection and test equipment, ensuring traceability and adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

• HS Diploma/GED is required!
• 2-5 years of quality inspection experience is required; in a regulated (FDA /ISO 13485) environment is preferred!
• Strong blueprint reading skills with working knowledge of basic GD&T is highly preferred!
• Hands on experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM operation is highly preferred!
• Proven experience performing detailed visual inspections under magnification (up to 30×) is preferred!
• Strong documentation and data recording practices with attention to detail is preferred!
• Ability to operate inspection and test equipment in accordance with established procedures is preferred!
