Performs inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with policy and procedures. We’re hiring an Incoming/Receiving Quality Inspector (Inspector II) responsible for visual inspection under 30× magnification, dimensional measurements, and support for FAI and GR&R activities in a regulated FDA/ISO 13485 environment.

• Read and comprehend drawings and basic GD&T
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing
• Use microscopes for inspection up to 30× magnification
• Record inspection and test data per written procedures
• Operate test and measurement equipment as instructed
  
  Recommend changes to policies and procedures
• Document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system
• Support divisional initiatives related to QMS, EMS, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with FAI and GR&R activities

• 2–5 years of experience using calipers, micrometers, and gages
• Strong vision and optical inspection experience
• Solid blueprint reading capability
• Excellent documentation practices

• CMM operation experience
• Experience working in an FDA / ISO 13485 regulated environment

• Blueprint reading and basic GD&T
