GYMGUYZ East Bay & Tri-Valley is seeking a Sales & Assessment Manager (Master Trainer) who combines fitness expertise with strong sales ability.
This role is responsible for converting leads into clients by conducting fitness assessments, recommending training programs, and closing package sales.
The role also supports client success through mid-point reassessments and program adjustments while assisting the trainer team with program design.
This individual will represent the brand in the community through field marketing, van drives, wellness tables, and local outreach events.

- Schedule and confirm complimentary fitness assessments
- Conduct in-home or on-site fitness assessments
- Recommend training programs and close training package sales
- Maintain a high conversion rate from assessment to client
- Conduct mid-program reassessments
- Collaborate with trainers to ensure proper program design
- Assist with programming for new clients
- Ensure trainers follow brand standards and client experience expectations
The Master Trainer (Sales & Assessment Manager) may also assist in organic marketing tactics such as community outreach, yard signs, door hangers, van waves, and partnership visits to generate leads and build brand awareness.

- Maintain accurate client notes and assessment documentation
- Drive the GYMGUYZ van when required
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.)
- CPR/AED Certification
- 3+ years personal training experience
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills
- Ability to connect with clients and build trust
- Professional communication skills
- Experience in fitness sales or membership sales
- Experience conducting assessments and closing training packages
- Leadership or mentor experience with other trainers
