Core responsibilities include:

• Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials surveys.
• Collect environmental and personal samples and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
• Provide asbestos and lead-based paint oversight during remediation.
• Prepare field notes, photographs, sample location maps, and chain-of-custody documents; record survey data on approved forms.
• Prepare reports detailing survey and project methodology, results, and recommendations
• Use, calibrate, maintain, clean, and download data from standard field equipment and instruments.
• Implement health and safety policies, follow company directives and standards, and maintain knowledge of regulations and industry trends.
• Communicate with project managers, staff, clients, and contractors; participate in training; drive company or rental vehicles; travel as required; work off-hours and weekends when needed.

You'll thrive here if you:

• Have DOSH CSST or CAC and CDPH Lead-Related Construction certifications.
• Have a valid driver's license with ability to pass DISA drug/alcohol testing.
• Have an associate, bachelor's degree, or certificate in a related field preferred; field experience may substitute for education.
• Have experience with asbestos, lead, mold surveys, exposure assessments, and hazardous materials oversight.
• Are able to wear PPE, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Have strong technical inspection and technical writing skills; proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Have knowledge of industrial hygiene/building science equipment, protocols, and applicable regulations.
• Are located in Northern California with reliable transportation and ability to travel locally up to 50%.

• Compensation: $34 - $43 hourly rate The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
