Reports to: Principal Dakota Nealy
Employment Type: Full‑Time (180 days, 7 hours daily)

Position SummaryCreate a flexible program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with pupils; motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for education following each pupil’s ability; and establish good relationships with parents and staff.
Essential Duties- Teach middle school mathematics and other course of study.
- Instruct pupils in citizenship and other essential subject matter per district law and regulations.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials; provide individualized and small‑group instruction.
- Translate lesson plans into effective learning experiences.
- Utilize grading patterns fairly and based on criteria.
- Maintain standards of pupil behavior and treat pupils with respect and dignity.
- Evaluate pupil academic and social growth; keep records and prepare progress reports.
- Communicate with parents through conferences and other means.
- Interact positively and professionally with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Identify pupil needs and cooperate with staff in coaching or remediation.
- Maintain professional competence through in‑service and self‑selected growth activities.
- Supervise and monitor students during out‑of‑classroom activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Stand, walk, twist neck and trunk; bend and reach overhead.
- Repeated use of fingers and handsto grasp/operate equipment and demonstrate lessons.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lb; ability to administer CPR.
- Hold proper state certification (Intermediate or Advanced Mathematics) or OSBI background check.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
- Oklahoma Teaching Certification in listed mathematics subjects or Alternative Teaching Certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Work cooperatively, demonstrate self‑discipline, initiative, and follow state and district guidelines.
