We are seeking an experienced Designer / Drafter to support the creation of production drawing packages for industrial and energy-related equipment. This role focuses on developing fabrication and assembly drawings for products such as natural gas line heaters, industrial water heaters, and glycol dehydration units, working closely with Project Engineering to meet customer and production requirements.

• Create General Arrangement, Fabrication, and Assembly drawings using 2D and 3D CAD
• Develop production drawing packages from engineering handoff documents with minimal supervision
• Maintain parts, part numbers, descriptions, and specifications
• Manage Engineering Change tasks within PLM and ERP systems
• Generate drawing packages for production and service
• Interface with engineering, production, and purchasing teams for design changes
• Generate CNC burn table files using CAM software
• Support fabrication and assembly through accurate, production-ready documentation

• 3–5 years of drafting experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1–2 years working knowledge of SOLIDWORKS preferred
• Familiarity with metal fabrication and welding procedures
• Strong organizational, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate professionally and work independently or as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Primary work performed in a professional office environment
• Occasional visits to the manufacturing floor and warehouse
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer
• Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs
• PPE required when in production areas (hearing protection and safety glasses)

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Drafting preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
