HVAC Journeyman
- Service Technician

We are seeking a qualified HVAC Journeyman
- Service Technician to perform service, repair, and installation of heating and cooling equipment within residential premises.

The function of this position includes:

• Service, repair, and/or propose replacement of warm air furnaces, air conditioners, duct distribution systems, boilers, water heaters, related piping and electrical.
• Start up equipment and adjust to manufacturers' specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve all issues that prevent equipment from functioning.
• Communicate with consumers regarding operation and maintenance of installed equipment, answering questions.
• Document each call: record recommendations, repairs, accurate readings, observations; obtain necessary signatures and collect payments.

• Customer service oriented.
• Good working knowledge of HVAC products and services; able to study and train as required.
• Ability to set goals and objectives, develop action plans, and monitor progress.
• Excellent communication skills with associates, superiors, vendors, and customers.
• Experience obtaining customer referrals and web recommendations.
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Proficient at reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to accurately list and order materials and supplies.
• Work under time constraints, budgetary limits, and pressures.
• Efficient time and schedule management.
• Understanding of client needs and ability to influence decisions.
• Commitment to continuous learning through training, trade shows, seminars, independent study, and peer learning.
• Maintain clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Drive safely and recognize and avoid dangerous situations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
