Internship Overview

The Company Imerys is the world’s leading supplier of mineral-based specialty solutions, employing over 16,000 people worldwide. Join us in Sandersville, Georgia, for a Summer 2026 Full‑Time & Paid Internship program (12–16 weeks) to help transform minerals into high‑value solutions.

• Refine existing Control Plans for mill #2 and #3.
• Develop a robust decision tree for mill #3 concerning quality, productivity, and equipment preservation that could serve as a prompt for automated process control with machine‑learning tools.
• Create work instructions for activities that have caused quality complaints.
• Learn and apply quality tools used to develop control plans and subsequent documents, translating improvements into documented I3 savings.
• Collaborate with plant staff and senior leadership to deliver impactful tasks from day one.

In line with operational excellence, this project focuses on establishing a standardized system for process and quality control.

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and collaborate across disciplines.
• Demonstrated leadership in school clubs, sports, or work projects.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Eligible for unsponsored roles; visa sponsorship not available.
