Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects
You've never been satisfied with "good enough." You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you'll do exactly that. You'll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before.
You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we're transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future.
Because "good enough" builds the past. You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.
The work:
- You'll create and manage detailed project schedules covering all phases of data center construction, from design through closeout.
- You'll define activities, sequence workflows, estimate durations, and allocate resources to build accurate project timelines.
- You'll identify critical paths, key milestones, and dependencies to ensure schedules align with owner objectives.
- You'll track progress against the baseline schedule, preparing regular reports with earned value, milestone, and variance analyses.
- You'll identify schedule risks early, assess potential impacts, and recommend or implement mitigation strategies.
- You'll perform "what-if" analyses and develop recovery schedules to keep projects on track amid changes or disruptions.
- You'll collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors to align and communicate schedule updates effectively.
- You'll coordinate subcontractor and supplier schedules into a cohesive master schedule using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- You'll optimize workflows and resource allocations to enhance efficiency and meet project deadlines.
- You'll document actual versus planned timelines, maintain historical schedule data, and analyze lessons learned for future improvement.
- Flexible:
The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
Here's what you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
- 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms
