Dura-Line is Seeking an Experienced Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) Manager

Dura-Line, an Orbia Business, invites you to join our team as an EHSS Manager at our manufacturing site. In this crucial role, you'll play a pivotal part in fostering a safety-conscious culture, ensuring compliance, and championing sustainability initiatives.
Lead and Manage EHSS Programs- Actively engage the entire workforce to build a robust EHSS culture, emphasizing zero harm and environmental mindfulness.
- Possess Process Safety Management (PSM) certification or background (a significant advantage).
- Foster a safety culture and drive continuous improvements within the plants and across the company.
- Drive data-driven process improvement ideas, analyze evolving EHS regulations, and ensure industry-standard goals are met.
- Keep abreast of emerging safety issues, industry benchmarks, and collaborate to develop policy recommendations.
- Use experience in program implementation, maintenance, training, and hazard assessment to drive corrective actions.
- Proactively identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure safety compliance in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
- Influence others by working with the operations team to implement and develop a strong Safety and Environmental Culture.
- Employ positive employee recognition, a coaching approach, and collaboration with team members.
- Conduct objective accident investigations, analyze injury trends, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Train management on proper processes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Anticipate safety issues and prevent accidents arising from behavioral conditions.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of Federal & Local EHS regulations and policies.
- Conduct safety audits, job hazard analyses, risk assessments, and participate in decision-making processes.
- Encourage positive EHS engagement with hourly workers and site leadership.
- 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in a manufacturing plant, fostering a positive safety culture.
- Degree in EHS or related field, or equivalent experience; relevant certifications such as ASP/CSP are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in injury reduction at past employers with supporting examples.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support all shifts, being present, and adjusting schedules for optimal safety support.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on urgency.
- Willingness to support all shifts when it comes to safety, remain present, and adjust schedules as needed.

The compensation for this position will typically range from $93,500 to $173,000 annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
