Mechanical Quality Specialist – Integration

Location Georgia Department DEPCONThe Opportunity

The QAQC Specialist is responsible for performing detailed quality assurance and quality control activities on construction projects This role focuses on inspections documentation and compliance with project specifications codes and standards The QAQC Specialist works under the direction of the QAQC Supervisor or Manager to ensure that all materials and workmanship meet established quality requirements

• Quality Execution
  • Implement QAQC procedures and inspection checklists as directed
  • Conduct inspections of construction activities materials and equipment
  • Verify compliance with approved drawings specifications and standards
  • Assist in reviewing submittals and RFIs for quality compliance
• Field Inspections & Testing
  • Perform daily site inspections and document findings
  • Witness material testing and commissioning activities
  • Inspect delivered materials for compliance with approved submittals
• Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests using tools like Procore
  • Prepare daily logs and inspection reports for review by QAQC Supervisor
  • Report non conformance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Coordination & Compliance
  • Communicate with site teams to resolve quality issues promptly
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols during inspections

• 25 years of QAQC experience in construction projects
• Knowledge of construction methods materials codes and standards
• Proficiency in inspection and documentation software eg Procore
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred
• Relevant certifications eg ACI OSHA 10 hour preferred
