• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients while monitoring patient response.
• Ensure correct exercise form so the intended goal of a chosen exercise is being achieved and movement training is effective.
• Provide manual treatments as appropriate within the PTA scope under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Ensure patient is progressing as expected and modify as appropriate under physical therapist supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and equipment.
• Educate patients on reasoning for the plan-of-care, including exercise choice, manual therapy treatments, chosen interventions, etc to promote good patient compliance for progress outside of the clinic.
• Document patient treatments, outcomes, and all relevant provider-patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care by practicing proactive and effect communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, other providers and their office staff, and the community in general when required.
• Participate in company marketing to help increase community awareness about Action Point Physical Therapy and what services we offer to help people achieve their movement goals.

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Idaho.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
