Job title:

Hours:

night shift, Mon to Thurs 6PM to 6AM, occasional Friday OT.

As a loader operator, you'll play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring production efficiency. You'll work closely with the operations team to deliver results that make a difference. As a loader operator, you'll support production, maintain equipment, and ensure smooth workflow to meet daily targets.

What you'll do as a loader operator, you will be responsible for: mixing materials per specification to set up production for the upcoming days, ensuring proper blend and moisture content. Receiving incoming loads of raw materials and separating them by species. Inspecting the quality of raw materials to standards and notifying plant leadership of any defects. Loading the infeed bin according to production schedule requirements.

Conducting loader inspections and performing routine maintenance. Communicating with co-workers regarding the status of workflow.

What you'll bring the ideal candidate for this role will have: a high school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of loader operation experience in an industrial setting preferred. Strong eye, hand, and foot coordination. The ability to concentrate for extended periods and multitask effectively. Capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and remain standing or seated for long durations.

Comfort in climbing up and down stairs to operate the loader, without fear of confined spaces or heights. Ability to perform simple math calculations, use basic tools, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude for conducting loader maintenance. Required skills include heavy equipment operating and forklift experience.
