Supervisor Clinical Practice - BSN

Ready to elevate clinical excellence and lead with purpose? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced clinical leader to serve as Supervisor of Clinical Practice, responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations while ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care. In this role, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, promote clinical excellence, and drive continuous improvement through effective staff supervision, performance management, and adherence to regulatory and professional standards.

This position plays a key role in fostering a collaborative environment, optimizing operational efficiency, and advancing both patient outcomes and team development.

This is a Full‑time Exempt – you will oversee all three clinics: 2 days in Sandpoint, 1 day in CDA, 1 day in Post Falls. Fridays can be virtual or onsite depending on leadership collaboration meetings.

This position is based in Sandpoint and is scheduled for 5 days per week on‑site. The role also requires 1 day per month in Coeur d’Alene and 1 day per month in Post Falls.

Mileage from your home location is reimbursed.

What you will do
  • Act as a clinical resource for team in daily problem‑solving within scope of license, registration, or certification.
  • Ensure appropriate patient assessment and treatment.
  • Responsible for coordination of care and education for patients.
  • Provide procedural oversight, if applicable.
  • Perform clinical responsibilities within scope of license, registration, or certification as assigned.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement projects that are identified.
  • Establish work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance training and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with established regulations and standards including quality improvement projects, quality assurance, confidentiality and EHR documentation.
  • Review and evaluate the work and performance of subordinates.
  • Authorize personnel actions and oversee most day‑to‑day operations of team.
  • Responsible for adherence to budget.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Apply a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited college or US Military equivalent in an area of oversight with applicable credentialing/licensing in one of the following required:
  • RN:
    Minimum of a BSN and State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure, or current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with Idaho.
  • 3 years of healthcare experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience in a related field preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS required if applicable to the clinic of oversight.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to maintain a standing position.
  • Typical equipment used in a clinical job.
  • Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height.
  • Must be able to stoop, crouch, or bend.
  • Exposure to needles, blood and body fluids, etc.
