Job Title
Maintenance Technician
OverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for developing foundational skills in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. The technician will work under the supervision of senior staff to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and systems.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain a professional and positive work environment.
- Diagnose issues with motor control systems, circuits, and wiring.
- Work with pneumatic systems to identify and resolve basic issues.
- Perform mechanical repairs on equipment, focusing on proper techniques.
- Accurately complete maintenance logs and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to company safety requirements, particularly around electrical work.
- Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn on the job.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Develop foundational skills in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems, and problem‑solving.
- Demonstrate proactive willingness to learn and adapt to new skills, technologies, and processes.
- Maintain professional and collaborative interactions with team members.
- Assist in diagnosing and fixing basic issues in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Learn to troubleshoot motor control systems, circuits, and wiring issues.
- Work with pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct mechanical repairs while learning correct techniques.
- Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and other documentation accurately.
- Follow safety guidelines, especially concerning electrical, mechanical work, and hazardous materials.
- Comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company policies.
- Required to talk and hear frequently.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Required to walk frequently.
- Required to stand for 3–4 hours at a time.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (12 kg).
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
- Fine motor control to grasp and manipulate objects.
- Require bending at waist and knees frequently.
- Require reaching frequently.
- Vision ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Work with products that contain chemicals or may contain hazardous materials.
$21/Hour Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm
