Discovery Learnership Programme 2026 / 2027: Discovery is currently accepting applications for the Wealth Management Learnership based at Discovery Place in Sandton, Gauteng.
This dynamic learnership opportunity offers young individuals combining structured academic learning with practical workplace experience.
Successful candidates will work towards obtaining a nationally recognized National Certificate:
Wealth Management (NQF Level
5) qualification through the Discovery Institute of Training.

As a learner in this program, you will support financial planning specialists and learning developers in building and refining training materials designed for financial advisers. You will gain hands‑on exposure to wealth management principles, compliance regulations, and financial planning solutions.
Key daily tasks and learning responsibilities include:
- Training Content Support: Assisting specialists in reviewing and developing up-to-date training modules for financial advisers.
- Market & Product Research: Conducting detailed research on financial products, market trends, and regulatory updates to keep course content accurate.
- Data Analysis: Gathering and analyzing data used in scenario planning, case studies, and training guides.
- Database Management: Helping maintain and organize a database of learning resources and training materials.
- Participant Feedback: Collecting feedback from training participants to evaluate the impact of learning solutions.
- Mentorship & Development: Working closely with Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) and training managers for structured career guidance.
To be considered for the Discovery Wealth Management Learnership, applicants must meet the following basic academic criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric certificate) is essential.
- Matric Subject Requirements:
English (First or Second Language): Minimum Level 4 (50%)
Second Language: Minimum Level 4 (50%)
- Age Limit: Must be between 18 and 30 years old
. - Citizenship: Only South African citizens by birth will be considered.
- Computer Literacy: Basic operational knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Employment & Study Status: Must not be currently employed or enrolled in post-Matric studies.
- Previous Learnerships: Applicants must not have completed any previous learnership programs.
Note:
Applicants with an incomplete tertiary qualification in finance or business are also welcome to apply.
