KYC Administrator Rosebank Sandton Johannesburg

Our financial services client in Rosebank Sandton is looking for a KYC Administrator with 3-4 year’s experience. You will be performing Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks on new and existing clients, ensuring full compliance with Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.

• Matric and a Certificate/Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent AML/KYC certification
• 3-4 years of experience in a KYC, AML, or Compliance role within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC
• Familiarity with screening tools (e.g. Lexis Nexis).
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Conduct KYC, CDD, and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) checks on new and existing clients (individuals and corporate entities).
• Verify client identity documents, proof of address, source of funds, and source of wealth.
• Screen clients against sanctions lists, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) databases, and adverse media using tools such as Lexis Nexis, or similar.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within internal KYC/CRM systems.
• Perform periodic reviews of existing client files based on risk classification (low, medium, high).
• Escalate suspicious activity or high‑risk clients to the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) or Compliance Manager.
