Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Job Description
Job Description To conduct comprehensive KYC and Client Due Diligence reviews to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and other regulatory requirements. The role supports client refresh and maintenance processes, mitigates risk, and enables trade by ensuring accurate and timely verification of client information. Perform comprehensive KYC assessments for existing clients to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Proactively engage clients ahead of KYC review deadlines to obtain and verify documentation.
Maintain accurate client contact details and communication records in CRM and KYC tools. Work closely with Client Group teams, Transactional Product Managers, Onboarding Specialists, Client Service Managers, Compliance and Legal to resolve complex client review issues. Apply accurate risk classification and maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Act as a subject matter expert on KYC, AML, FATCA and CRS processes, providing guidance and support to stakeholders and clients.
Communicate with clients to obtain necessary documentation or provide explanations where needed. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes in client information. Ensure client documentation and KYC information is acquired in accordance with the company data privacy policy and regulatory standards. Response to client or internal stakeholder requests or queries for documentation or KYC information. Validate the accuracy of client information and pre-populate required documentation prior to submission.
This includes applying quality assurance measures to confirm data completeness and securing all necessary approvals. Identify opportunities to enhance team processes and optimise workflows, including the resolution of discrepancies and disputes.
