• Prepare and review IFRS 17 reporting
• Manage VAT and tax calculations and submissions
• Analyze operating expenses and insurance claims to identify trends and variances
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
• Manage key account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records
• Support month-end and year-end reporting while maintaining compliance with financial controls

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
• 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant
• Insurance industry experience (essential)
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS 17
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Sage experience
