Role PurposeTo assist in proactively managing a portfolio of FNB Private Wealth Clients alongside a Banking Specialist, through the provision of analysis, research and sales and service fulfilment with the intent of identifying additional opportunities for banking new clients and growing a portfolio of existing clients through effective stakeholder management. An exciting opportunity exists for a highly professional and client-centric individual to join our Private Banking & Advisory team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, supporting relationship managers, managing banking solutions, and ensuring a seamless client experience across the wealth and private banking value chain.
Client Service & Relationship Management
Manage day-to-day banking transactions and service requests for private banking clients. Respond promptly to client enquiries and provide professional banking support. Resolve account-related queries and service concerns efficiently. Deliver a premium client experience aligned to Private Banking standards. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requests. Build and maintain trusted relationships with HNW and UHNW clients.
Product & Banking SolutionsImplement and maintain transactional, savings, investment, and cash management solutions. Facilitate foreign exchange transactions and international payments. Support digital banking adoption and online banking solutions. Assist clients with lending and credit‑related requests.
Portfolio Administration & ComplianceSupport the monitoring of lending and client portfolios. Track covenant compliance, collateral requirements, and payment schedules. Prepare portfolio performance and status reports. Assist with annual reviews and portfolio renewals. Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements. Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Business DevelopmentSupport Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships. Introduce clients to specialists for wealth, lending, fiduciary, and investment requirements. Support client retention and relationship growth initiatives. Participate in client engagement and networking events.
QualificationsYou will be a match if you meet the minimum requirements;
Qualifications FSCA Recognised Qualification. Minimum NQF Level 7 Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Business Management, or a related field. RE5 Certificate Experience Minimum 3 years' experience within Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Advisory, or a related banking environment. Experience servicing High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients will be highly advantageous.
