About the Role

We're seeking an experienced leader for the role of Head of Financial Advisors — the key execution partner to our Executive Head and senior day-to-day leader of our Financial Planning practice.

This is a team leadership role with team-based outcomes. The successful candidate will not build, retain, or service a personal client book. You'll lead the Financial Planning team, oversee advice-quality standards, and ensure our Administration and Para-planning hubs deliver the capacity and service levels planners and clients need.

• Team leadership:
  Lead, coach, and performance-manage Financial Planners; oversee Administration and Para-planning capacity, workflow, and quality; manage recruitment, on-boarding, and (where needed) exits
• Advice quality:
  Build an advice-led culture prioritizing client outcomes; provide technical oversight across retirement, investments, risk/insurance, tax, estate planning, and employee benefits; ensure advice is compliant and well-documented
• Stakeholder engagement:
  Handle escalated client matters; partner with investment consulting, retirement, compliance, and operations teams; remove operational friction so planners can focus on clients
• Strategy execution:
  Convert strategic intent into practical plans with clear owners and milestones; lead change initiatives with genuine team buy-in and adoption

• Relevant degree or financial planning qualification (CFP preferred)
• FAIS fit-and-proper status and relevant regulatory examinations
• Experience
• Proven leadership of Financial Planners or similarly senior, professional client-facing teams
• Strong track record in performance management, coaching, and difficult people decisions (including formal capability/termination processes)
• Experience recruiting advisers and assessing technical and cultural fit
• Operational experience improving service delivery across advice, admin, or para-planning functions
• Experience driving change/new operating models with sustained adoption
• Comfortable with scorecards and performance metrics; strong stakeholder management and diplomacy

• Technical financial planning credibility to oversee senior/executive-level advice
