Introduction
An established professional services firm is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and strategic Project Supervisor to lead Director Effectiveness and Governance Performance projects. This role blends project management, corporate governance advisory, client relationship management, and team leadership to ensure high-quality delivery, operational efficiency, and exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client Relationship Management- Support the development and execution of business, marketing, and governance advisory initiatives
- Assist with the design, launch, and rollout of new service offerings
- Manage incoming project leads and coordinate allocation across internal teams
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling governance, advisory, and consulting services
- Participate in client meetings to scope projects and recommend appropriate solutions
- Draft proposals, agreements, and track contractual documentation
- Conduct contractual reviews and support commercial negotiations
- Manage tender, RFQ, and bid submission processes
- Maintain ongoing client engagement and post-project follow-up
- Prepare and deliver presentations on governance, director evaluation, and advisory services
- Track departmental performance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline reporting
- Support collections and financial follow-ups when required
- Balance stakeholder expectations across clients, facilitators, and internal teams
- Allocate confirmed projects to coordinators and facilitators, ensuring optimal resource management
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, quality standards, and client satisfaction
- Oversee projects from proposal stage through completion using digital project management tools
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of surveys, evaluations, and reporting outputs
- Ensure workflow automation and governance project processes are implemented effectively
- Provide regular project status updates and management reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing and facilitate approval of facilitator invoices
- Act as the primary client contact, managing escalations and project issues professionally
- Perform final quality reviews of evaluation reports before submission
- Identify and resolve project bottlenecks efficiently
- Lead, coach, and mentor Project Coordinators and team members
- Participate in performance management and KPI discussions
- Identify team development and training needs
- Ensure adherence to operational processes, templates, and standards
- Manage team planning, leave approvals, and workflow allocation
- Address HR-related matters professionally and promptly
- Foster a high-performance, client-focused, and collaborative team culture
- Matric (essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom, LLB, or similar preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate, consulting, professional services, or legal environments
- Proven project management expertise (Waterfall or Agile methodologies)
- Experience with proposals, reporting, and commercial negotiations
- Exposure to quality assurance, research, or technical reporting
- Experience managing service pricing, forecasts, and project expenses
- Team supervision or leadership experience
- Advanced experience with Qualtrics, complex surveys, automation, and reporting
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience with digital collaboration and project management tools
- Exposure to listed companies, public sector, or governance environments advantageous
- Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks (King IV principles,) advantageous
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent organisational ability, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Own transport and willingness to travel as required
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when needed
