Security Systems Technician​/Installer

Location: Fourways, Johannesburg

Salary: R9,000 – R11,000 per month

A growing provider of integrated security and access control solutions is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician / Installer to join their team in Fourways. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong installation, maintenance and fault-finding experience across a range of electronic security systems.

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electronic security systems.
• Install and support access control systems.
• Install, configure and commission CCTV systems.
• Install and maintain turnstiles, boom gates and spike barriers.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on existing installations.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to clients.
• Complete installation documentation and service reports.

• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Extensive hands-on experience installing and maintaining:
  • Turnstiles
  • Boom gates
  • Spike barriers
• Proven experience with access control systems, including:
  • ZKTeco
  • Hikvision
  • Impro
• Proven CCTV installation and maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Able to work independently on client sites.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Clean criminal record.

• Electronics qualification or technical background.
• Experience with gate automation systems.
• Experience with electric fencing systems.
• Networking and IP-based security systems knowledge
