Maintenance and Installation Technician

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from initial setup of new systems to performing routine checks and necessary repairs.

• Perform precise installations of new equipment and systems according to technical specifications and project timelines.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnostic services to ensure optimal system function.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues encountered on-site.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide maintenance and repair activities.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on all service activities, including parts used and work completed.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company best practices.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance and Installation Technician or in a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel frequently within the Sandton area for client visits.
• A relevant technical qualification or certification is highly desirable.
