Mechanical Fitter

Our client is seeking a hands-on and experienced Mechanical Fitter to support their manufacturing operations in Sandton. This role is vital for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within the facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and reliably, performing precision fitting tasks, and adhering to strict quality and safety standards. • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and machinery according to specifications.

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical trade role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to work with various tools and machinery.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in a workshop environment.
