About the role
The Senior Project Manager will lead large-scale Data Center construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover, acting as the primary operational and client-facing leader across mission critical developments.
This position will focus heavily on:
- Mission Critical Project Delivery
- Ground-Up Data Center Builds
- MEP Coordination & Oversight
- Construction Scheduling & Budget Management
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Subcontractor Procurement & Management
- Executive Reporting & Forecasting
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing large-scale mission critical construction projects valued up to $500M+
- Overseeing all project operations including schedule, budget, procurement, and execution
- Leading complex MEP coordination and constructability reviews
- Managing subcontractors, vendors, and project teams across active construction sites
- Acting as the primary liaison between the client, field teams, and executive leadership
- Driving schedule certainty and risk mitigation across fast-track data center projects
- Supporting business growth through strong client relationship management
- Mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
This role requires full-time site presence within active data center construction environments and the ability to travel nationally where required.
About the candidateThe ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in mission critical construction, hyperscale data center projects, and large-scale commercial or industrial construction environments.
Candidates should possess:
- 10+ years of construction project management experience
- Minimum 5 years within Data Center Construction or Mission Critical Construction
- Proven track record delivering large-scale hyperscale or colocation projects valued between $50M–$500M+
- Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems within critical environments
- Experience overseeing commissioning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution
- Expertise managing fast-track construction schedules and complex stakeholder environments
- Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, and construction management software
- Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
