The Superintendent for Megawatt Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing field personnel, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders. The Superintendent plays a critical role in translating project plans into actionable tasks and ensuring seamless execution on the job site.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Project Oversight: Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the project.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and reports, including daily logs and progress updates.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor site personnel to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role overseeing on-site operations.

Skills:
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations. - Leadership

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Problem-Solving
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role overseeing on-site operations.
