Telamon Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team in Sandusky, Ohio.

About the RoleThe Project Engineer will support all aspects of the project team, including Project Managers, Superintendents, estimators, and administrative personnel. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Support project teams in maintaining progress toward milestones and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, trade partners, vendors, and clients.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, estimators, and trade partners to solve challenges and support project execution.
- Assist with procurement activities, vendor communication, trade partner scheduling, and quote collection for bids/change orders.
- Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and project tracking items.
- Assist with quantity takeoffs, scope development, and trade partner bid coordination.
- 1–5 years of construction industry experience preferred
- Internship or co-op experience welcomed
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Positive attitude, coachability, and growth mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Construction Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of scheduling software and Microsoft Office products preferred
