Customer Service Rep, HelpDesk/Support, Bilingual
Super 8 of Sandusky is looking for full-time and part-time front desk representatives with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a willingness to listen to and assist guests. Training provided.
Front desk staff serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
- Welcome customers and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Ascertain their reservation needs.
- Assist customers and guests in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
- Know all essential aspects of our business operations.
- Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments; and make change for cash.
- Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording information and operating credit card authorization systems.
- Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Monitor lobby and work area to determine customer flow.
- Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Facilitate correspondence.
- Act as the site liaison for the services and sales center.
- Work collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources.
With 115 guest rooms located on 2 floors, our inn offers a refreshing environment that helps guests stay connected and balanced. The Super 8 of Sandusky is also part of the Cedar Corner Hotel & Entertainment Complex which features the Thirsty Pony restaurant, Cedar Lanes bowling center, Lazer Runner laser tag arena and Max Action axe-throwing.
