Responsibilities
- Develop and modify existing control systems; both modifying existing control systems and developing new control systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain automation lines to ensure continuous operation
- Create new schematics, BOMs, programs, and applications
- Focus on PLC and HMI development using Allen‑Bradley products
- Travel up to 20% for start‑ups, mainly within the U.S. and occasionally to Canada
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3‑5+ years of experience in Controls Engineering
- Extensive experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs
- Proficient in programming from scratch, ideally with experience at a systems integrator or OEM
- Ability to open and review CAD drawings and make redlines
- Expertise in compliance, motor applications, and data acquisition
- Experience with process measurement and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandusky, OH.
PayThe pay range for this position is $36.06 – $57.70 per hour.
