Controls Engineer

Job Opportunity

Develop and modify existing control systems; both modifying existing control systems and developing new control systems

Troubleshoot and maintain automation lines to ensure continuous operation

Create new schematics, BOMs, programs, and applications

Focus on PLC and HMI development using Allen-Bradley products

Travel up to 20% for start-ups, mainly within the U.S. and occasionally to Canada

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in Controls Engineering
• Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Proficient in programming from scratch, ideally with experience at a systems integrator or OEM
• Ability to open and review CAD drawings and make redlines

• Expertise in compliance, motor applications, and data acquisition
• Experience with process measurement and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $57.70/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
