Loan Servicing Specialist

Civista Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support our community-focused lending operations. In this role, you will process and maintain consumer and commercial loan accounts, post payments, reconcile records, and resolve customer inquiries with accuracy and care. You'll ensure compliance with banking regulations, assist with delinquency monitoring, and prepare servicing reports. Working in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment, you'll help deliver exceptional service while growing your skills and supporting the financial well-being of the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Process and service consumer and commercial loans in accordance with bank policies and regulations
• Post payments, maintain accurate loan records, and reconcile accounts
• Research and resolve customer inquiries, payment issues, and escrow questions
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections and workout efforts
• Prepare and review loan documents, notices, and reports for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines in all servicing activities
• Collaborate with branch and lending teams to support customer service and retention
• Identify process improvements to enhance servicing efficiency and customer experience
