Banquet Houseperson, Part Time

job status/type: part-time, year-round

salary: $18.50/hourly

position level: entry to mid-level

shift/schedule requirements: ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

• assist with various functions of the restaurant, seat guests, take food to the table, bus tables, and assist with dish washing as needed.
• maintain an outgoing, friendly disposition while interacting with our guests.
• provide guest service according to cedar point standards
• duties and responsibilities of setting up and tearing down banquet functions.
• follow diagram of room set with tables, chairs, podiums, bars, and buffets. Set room to those diagrams.
• maintaining a clean and safe work environment, during and after events, including sweeping rooms.
• clear rooms, and or clean out rooms after banquet events, including taking out trash.
• act as bar back for banquet events, stocking and running product for bars.
• understand and follow standard operation procedures.
