Responsibilities- Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
- Mechanical responsibilities include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
- Electrical responsibilities include planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with change control development, approvals, and execution.
- Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance.
- Routinely performs work in accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures and maintenance work instructions.
- Operates and monitors critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Oversees work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Manages fire alarm control panels and systems as needed.
- Receives and executes work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building structure. Works with Facility Manager or Lead CFT to order materials and finalize work orders in the computerized maintenance management system.
- Responds to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
- Monitors building operations and conducts periodic property tours during scheduled shifts.
- Understands the engineering design and operational aspects of electrical systems.
- Evaluates, assigns, and monitors safe work responsibilities and safety procedures for employees and contractors.
- Responds quickly to emergency situations and works to improve ADC s processes for continuous improvement and innovation.
- High school diploma and 3-5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years of experience as HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
- Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
- Ability to work overtime and longer shifts (12 hours).
- Shifts may require day/night/weekend/holiday work.
- Computer skills required: MS Office.
- Hourly Pay Range: $35-47/hr.
