Maintenance Mechanic - $33.00/hr

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications. This includes engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, using handtools, power tools, and testing instruments.
• Observe mechanical devices in operation, listen for issues, and troubleshoot problems. Have strong mechanical aptitude, especially in hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Read hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic controls effectively.
• Knowledge of pumps and plant facility maintenance.
• Set up and operate metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders to make or repair parts.
• Install, dismantle, and replace parts in devices using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Examine parts for imperfections and lubricate/clean as necessary.
• Knowledge of metallization operations and experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.
• Operate industrial trucks and equipment, such as overhead cranes and backhoes, with an in-plant driver’s license.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures, work safely from heights, and adhere to safety programs.

• Journeyman Card or 7 years of equivalent experience.
