Position SummaryThe Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements through routine inspections, testing, and verification.
This role supports both laboratory and production floor operations, including monitoring of Critical Control Points (CCPs), in-process checks, finished product evaluation, and documentation in compliance with food safety plans and company procedures.
- Performfinished product analytical testing to ensure compliancetospecifications.

Good Laboratory Practices. - Conduct pre-operational inspections of the production equipment.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the cleaning practices by conducting swabbing tests for allergens and gluten.
- Perform and document in-process checks according to specificationandfood safety and quality requirements.
- Ensure good manufacturing practices are being adhered to on the production floor.
- Completefacility inspections, document and verify corrective actions.
- Ensure production records, batch documentation, and quality logs are complete and accurate.
- Collect,maintain, and document product retains.
- Conduct initial investigations for quality and/or food safetydeviations.
- Place product on hold and support disposition decisions when nonconformances are identified.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prefer an associate degree or equivalent
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Basic understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and CCPspreferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow SOPs
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, and FDA regulations.
- Understanding of allergen management, sanitation controls, and foreign material prevention.
- Ability to interpret specifications, regulations, and audit standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or off shifts, as needed.
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time (up to 8–12 hours per day).
- Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Climb stairs and occasionally ladders or platforms
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment, which may include varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for long periods of time, which may include hair/beard nets, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, lab coats, or protective outerwear.
