• Implement the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians' orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Conduct assessments; monitor and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation; document nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and report findings to physicians as needed.
• Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed toward a safe discharge.
• Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrate service excellence and act as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.

• Must possess a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse from the State of Ohio.
• Ohio Board of Nursing Certification in Intravenous Therapy (if LPN).
• Must be currently certified in CPR (and recertified bi‑annually).
• Prefer minimum of one year’s experience in a pertinent clinical area. Nurses who do not meet this requirement must obtain experience through competency‑based orientation (CBO).
